Implementation of Ulan Marketplace for Polish bigest bank PKO BP S. A.
The project aimed to create a POC marketplace, which was then tested in terms of its feasibility in the banking environment and the achievement of the bank's goals.
Ulan online marketplace
PKO BP is the largest bank in Poland and the CEE region. It has over 11,000,000 clients and total assets of 418 billion PLN ($ 110 billion, 2021). The bank was founded in 1919. It provides services to individual and business clients.
The core business activity of PKO Bank Polski is retail banking. The number of employees: 29,220. The solution core structure is Restful architecture and a PWA framework which makes it fully responsive ready to generate sales from any device.
POC was concentrated on testing the Ulan Marketplace solution, its usability, the possibility of integration with the bank's existing systems, and the systems of the bank's partners. Possibility of implementation as a portal, as online banking and mobile banking.
The project aimed to create a POC of the complete marketplace in a record time (2 months). And let that POC to the PKO BP team perform pre-implementation tests of a marketplace class solution.
The minimalist design allows the solution to be used in every bank channel - in online banking, mobile banking, and as a new platform. There is no need to adjust updates to the given channel. We also retained the complete branding of the PKO BP bank.
