The project aimed to improve the quality of the code (so-called refactoring) in all dimensions (quality, efficiency, security ...) and to design and implement a new graphic layout.

In the first phase, the project was written in a manner inconsistent with online marketplace solutions. It had many disadvantages that prevented its further effective development and scaling. Adding new functions took more and more time than it should take to write them. The security of the application was also not at the proper level.

As part of the project, we analyzed the current state of the solution. We found all its flaws in all layers of the application. Then we planned the target architecture and how the code refactoring should be carried out. In the next phase, we have fixed the whole solution. We've prepared the application from A to Z to develop it further for a new client's internal team. That team was built and onboarded during the duration of this project.

In addition, we designed and implemented a new design for the entire project, both in the desktop and mobile versions.

Marketplace with apartments
The project consisted in refactoring an existing marketplace with short-term rental apartments for tourism. There were a lot of outdated solutions and solutions based on the buggy architecture in the current portal. Our task was to design the target architecture and transfer the old code to it and design a modern and attractive graphic design.
